The Regional Schools Press Conference was held at the Bacolod Pavillon Hotel in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. It was originally scheduled on January 13-14, 2012, but was rescheduled to end on January 13 instead. The event was conducted by the Philippine Department of Education, Region VI. Caroline is a Grade VI Special Science Class pupil of Cabatuan Central Elementary School (CCES) in Cabatuan, Iloilo. She represented the school's publication, The Centralian Oracle, at the 2012 Regional Schools Press Conference.
