VIII. PHILOSOPHY
CNCHS POLICY ON PROFESSIONALISM
Realizing the role of administrators in foregoing the nation's cutting edge, the teachers and administrative staff, the school administrator and other key officials do hereby firmly exhort and manifest the following beliefs:
We believe that the teachers and the administrative staff have boundless potentials in developing themselves and others;
We believe that they can be creative and resourceful when faced with drudgery, the meagerness of resources and the immensity of needs yet never compromising the dignity of their profession;
We believe that they can be globally competent and productive when the future of the students, their family, and nation is at stake;
We believe that they are concerned, committed, and capable of self-sacrifice in the midst of crisis when they are humanely and justly led.
As education managers, we fervently commit to develop the potentialities of the teachers and staff by :
Providing a system of incentives and recognition commensurate to their performance even if their is a dire lack of resources;
Generating opportunities for increased professionalism in the midst of mediocrity and disillusionment so that they become not only users of innovations, but progenator of new ideas; and
Enhancing their personhood in this seemingly materialistic world so that they not only become men and women of the world but also men and women for the world,
Hence, transforming the teachers, staff, and ourselves into public servants essential in sustaining CNCHS as a center of excellence now and in the fast approaching future ...
