More than just a family grouping, the Haloy Clan Association, Inc. tried its hand on civic function by co-sponsoring last September 2, 2006 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, the first ever Jobs Fair held in Cabatuan. Other sponsors of the event were the Department of Labor and Employment, Region VI and the Grupo Himakas of the Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School Class 1975.

The Jobs Fair was participated in by 18 companies - 4 local and 14 overseas placement agencies. Some 234 applicants from Cabatuan and the nearby municipalities, came to apply for the numerous job vacancies, mostly overseas.

Guest speaker during the affair was Mr. Ricardo Monegro, Assistant Regional Director, Department of Labor and Employment, Region VI.
