August 3, 2014 - Congratulations to Mandy Umadhay for winning the Silver Medal in the I Love Math Summer Camp 2014 held in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang, China, from July 25 to July 30, 2014.

Mandy is the daughter of Alan Rosaldes Umadhay (Serrano St., Cabatuan) and Victoria Colorado Demontaño (Brgy Amerang, Cabatuan). Her grandparents are Benito Umadhay & Rosita Rosaldes Umadhay, and Jose Demontaño & Hermogina Colorado Demontaño.

She is currently a Grade 7 Student at Philippine Science High School.

Her father, Alan Rosaldes Umadhay, graduated 3rd Honorable Mention from Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School (CNCHS) in 1981; while her mother, Victoria Colorado Demontaño, is a product of Apia Elementary School, Cabatuan, and CPU High School.

Her grandmother, Rosita Rosaldes Umadhay, was one of the pioneer students of Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School (CNCHS), graduating in 1951, just 6 years after the school was established in 1945. She went on to teach at Tuy-an Elementary School (in Cabatuan), and then Cabatuan Central Elementary School (CCES), and later became the President of the Cabatuan Retired Teachers Association.

Mandy Umadhay was one of the Ten Outstanding Elementary School Pupils (TOESP) of Iloilo in 2014, representing Santa Barbara Central Elementary School, along with Edric John Tabares representing Cabatuan Central Elementary School. Meanwhile, Rae Dawn Vales of Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School was one of the Ten Outstanding Secondary Students of Iloilo. Mandy graduated as Valedictorian of SBCES for school year 2013-2014.
