by Lourde Frances Mye Almarza:

Euripides, one of the greatest playwrights of the ancient world once said, along with success comes a reputation for wisdom. As we face one another in this moment of glory, we remember how this institution, the Cabatuan Central Elementary School developed our wisdom in order to achieve success.

Dr. Angelo T. Paniza, our beloved school principal, honored guests, Mrs. Salvacion Crisme-Bilbao, faculty and staff, teachers, my dearest batchmates, friends, ladies and gentlemen; good afternoon.

It is with feelings of great joy and sorrow that we are here today -Joy, because the time has come when we will flutter our wings and fly to higher level of academic learnings; and sorrow, because we will bid farewell to the place where we spent our last six years building friendships and memories and learning new things.

As we now recall the vestiges of past years, faces of old friends appear before us, we should not forget those who greatly help us with our elementary education.

I begin with my beloved parents, Mr. Melchor Almarza and Ms. Yvette Almarza for the undying love and support for pushing me to the edge of my capabilities for me to discover more about myself, for me to learn new things and learn through life.

To our teachers who have faithfully labored with us, it is their instruction that has guided us intellectually throughout our elementary years. Although we may never be placed in an instructor-pupil situation again, you will always live in our memories as the one who taught us the foundations of English Language, the process of life cycles and even the theories governing the existence of the universe. In you, we feel indebted for much that we are or may be in the future.

To my classmates and the entire batch of 2012, the time has come when we will say goodbye to our teachers, to our school and yes- to each other. As we reminisce the happy memories of the past, we hardly realize that our elementary life have ended. We must realize that our school life cannot go on forever. Each of us has his or her own niche to fill in the outside world. We will all soon be moving onto something bigger than this, bigger than elementary, a bigger world is out there ready to challenge us and shape our little lives.

And now, as we celebrate the victorious moment of our elementary life, we face this moment with grateful hearts. From the young girls and boys that we are now, will spring into great citizens of our country and the future of our beloved town, Cabatuan is in our hands. We will be taking new Paths, Explore new boundaries but life will bring us back to this humble place, the institution where we wrote our first ABCs and 123s.

To my classmates, teachers and to my beloved Alma Mater, Cabatuan Central Elementary School, until we meet again.

Thank You!
