Pisces Joy Colorado Razon was crowned as the town fiesta queen during the coronation ceremonies held on September 10 at the covered gym in the town plaza. The coronation ceremonies started with a torch parade at 7:00 P.M. from the residence of the queen in Serrano Street to the covered gym.

Mayor Ramon C. Yee welcomed all the guests to the coronation program. He also officially proclaimed the town fiesta queen. Mr. Leo. S. Padilla, the chief of the general services division of Western Institure of Technology in La Paz, Iloilo City delivered the enconium for the queen. The fiesta queen was jointly crowned by Judee Nicole D. Romero, Miss Cabatuan 2004, and Cong. Arthur D. Defensor who also delivered his coronation message.

In his speech, Cong. Defensor assured the townspeople of his continuing help to Cabatuan in terms of projects. He promised to release P3 million from his pork barrel funds for the construction of bleachers around the covered gym and a main entrance door of the building.

The town fiesta queen was consorted by her first cousin Michael Joseph Colorado. The consort is a second year Nursing student of West Negros College in Bacolod City.

Miss Cabatuan 2005 is the eldest of the three children of Alberto Razon of Manila and the former Cecilia Colorado of Amerang, Cabatuan, Iloilo. Her father is a sales supervisor of San Miguel Corporation while her mother is a chemical engineer.

Due to her innate intelligence, she finished her elementary education in Montesori Integrated School in Antipolo City as class valedictorian. She had been a consistent scholar during her high school days in the same school. She obtained her degree in Famly Life and Child Development at University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, cum laude.

The members of the Royal Court were Princess Ma. Vina and Princess Sanshine.

The first princess, Ma. Vina Tormon Sablon, is a daughter of Chief Marine Engr. Cruz Sablon and the former Virginia Tormon, an elementary grade teacher. The 14-year old princess is a third year student of Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School, belonging to the Special Science Class.

She was consorted by Alfred Ley Genovesa, son of Marine Engr. Alfredo Genovesa and Civil Engr. Felicitas Arcos-Genovesa. He is a junior student of Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School.

The second princess, Sanshine Boots Marie Menosa Mailla, is a daughter of Bobby Mailla and the former Lorna Menosa. The 19-year old princess is a fourth year student of West Visayas State University where she is pursuing a degree on Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Her consort was Roven Tamorite, son of Roel Tamorite and the former Evelyn Bais. His father is the Punong Barangay of Gines Patag while his mother is a nurse working in Saudi Arabia.
