Cabatuan, Iloilo (Feb. 27) - Two students of Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School (CNCHS) won their respective categories in the "Red Cross Youth Got Faces competition 2011," held in Facebook in February 2011. Abigail Magtoles (4th Year, CNCHS) was the frontrunner in the female category while Klent Ollosa (4th Year, CNCHS) handily won the male category. The president of the CNCHS Red Cross Youth Council, Cherry Mae Marquez Sulatra (4th Year, CNCHS), spearheaded the online campaign. The competition was conducted by the Iloilo Red Cross Chapter in celebration of Red Cross Youth Week. The Got Faces competition was open to all bona fide RCY members in the province and in the city of Iloilo. Only a single pair of contestants, one male and one female, was allowed per council. The contestants must be in Type B uniform (Half Body) on his/her submitted photo. Only blue or green colored background was allowed, and photo enhancement and editing were prohibited. |
