Super Puma helicopters are assigned to the Military Sealift Command combat stores ships, and used for vertical replenishment of other U.S. Navy vessels.

During the Typhoon Frank relief operations, Super Puma helicopters assigned to USNS Niagara Falls transported supplies from USNS Niagara Falls to Kalibo.
