This was learned from Engr. Jose Norman Umadhay, the municipal planning and development coordinator, who supervised the rehabilitation of the project of the local government. It is situated at the southwestern part of the town, some three kilometers from the poblacion. 15 form PTA Board of Directors by Plebiscite Alfaro The General Assembly of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school elected 15 members of the Board of Directors during a meeting held on March. There were 19 nominees to the PTA Board of Directors however, as mandated by the Constitution of the Association, the General Assembly had to vote for only 15 members of the Board. Mr. Felipe Casianan Jr. topped the list of candidates, with 743 votes. Trailing close to him was Mr. Salvador Amoroso, a member of Sangguniang Bayan, with 729 votes. Other candidates who made it to the PTA Board of Directors were Mr. Ricardo Alej an, 725 votes; Engr. Mario Gil, 657 votes; Mr. Pio Lujan, 651 votes; Mr. Nestor Amoroso, a member of Sangguniang Bayan, 641 votes; Atty. Wilfredo Jiloca, 618 votes; Mr. Jose Clamucha, 590 votes. Mr. Pio Pedrola, 537 votes; Mr. Jose Sula­tra, 530 votes; Mr. Alberto Yniego, 442 votes; Mr. Domingo Tormon, 438 votes; Mr. Me­lecio Arguelles Sr., 403 votes; Mrs. Elena Mandario, 393 votes; and Mrs. Hellodora Ferro, 389 votes. PTA Board elects officers The PTA Board of Directors, composed of 15 members elected by the General Assembly on March 6, held its first meeting on March 13 to elect its new set of officers. Reelected president and chairman of the Board is Mr. Pio R. Lujan. Also reelected vice president is Engr. Mario Gil. The other elected officers are: Mr. Felipe Casianan Jr., secretary; Mr. Alberto Yniego and Mr. Jose Clamucha, assistant secretaries; Mr. Ricardo Alejan, reelected treasurer; Mr. Jose Sulatra, reelected assistant treasurer; Mr. Salvador Amoroso, auditor; Mr. Domingo Tormon, assistant auditor. Mr. Nestor Amoroso, business manager; Mr. Melecio Arguelles Sr., assistant business manager; Mrs. Elena T. Mandario, P.R.O.; Mrs. Hellodora M. Ferro, assistant P.R.O.; Atty. Wilfredo Jiloca and Mr. Pio Pedrola, Peace and Courtesy Officers. The new set of officers will serve a term of two years. They will be formally inducted into office during the commencement program of the school on March 27. They are Science professors of West Visayas State University and are connected with the Regional Science Teaching Center, headed by Miss Nenita Sornito, the director of the center.
