Plaza lighting gets boost Lighting in the town plaza has been improved with the installation of additional lights. Four posts with 300-watt c electric bulbs were put up around the basketball court in front of the community stage. The improvement of the plaza lighting system was made possible through the financial help of Sen. Edgardo Angara in the amount of P50,000.00. The amount was solicited by Vice Governor Robert Maroma. A public bidding was held to determine the private contractor that would undertake the installation of the lighting system. It was won by W.T. Remollo Construction, with the lowest bid of P46,250.00. As specified in the contract, aside from the installation of the lighting system, the winning contractor had to enclose the monument of Tomas Confesor with a fence made of iron, and to widen the concrete pavement around the monument.
