MARCH 1993 THE GLOW 31 ningas cogon mentalityandthe like. Successful people get things done. They never wait for tomorrow what they can do today. 5. COMMON SENSE The common sense is sometimes the least common. It is the ability to render sound, practical judgement on everyday affairs. Common sense can be developed like the 6th sense. It can be done by observing others and learning from own mistakes. People who are risk takers have a lot of common sense. There are many things learned through experience and a lot of them from common sense. Four of the five traits are not inborn. They can be learned. Given enough intelligence to start with, all of us can succeed if we can acquire the other four traits. You can do it, don't you? Who knows, you might be included in the list of Who's Who! Lastly, let us not forget the many significant others who in way or the other have touched the lives of our students. These I refer to all government officials, religious people, youth neighbors, relatives, friends and all the others. Above and d foremost, let us praise and thank the Lord for giving us these students, our parents, our teachers, our classmates and our friends and for allowing us all here today to accomplish His task.
