Every year Cabatuan celebrates its town fiesta on September 10, in honor of Patron Saint San Nicolas de Tokotino.
For the past two years, one of the main features of the fiesta celebration has been the holding of HIRINUGYAW, a street-dancing contest participated in by government and private sectors in town. The contest, held on September 1, had two phases: dancing around the
highlight of the celebration was a program held on August 19. The program featured contests on composo, creative dance, interpretative singing, and quizz contest. Rieza Velarde, IV-A, topped the quiz contest. The composo contest was dominated by Karen Cartagena, IV-2. The dance group of the fourth year lorded it over in creative dance contest while the interpretative singing contest was won by the third year group.

The entry of the school, TRIBU HAISKUL, was not able to defend the championship crown it won last year. The tribe, composed of the members of the faculty and staff of the school, placed second to the entry of the Local Government Unit. Third placer was Tribu Tinderos of the Market Vendors Association.
