MARCH 1998 Re r7fim 29 Class '-98 Last Will and Testament There is no royal road to learning; no shortcut to the acquisition of any valuable art. For the past four years that we have been in this institution, we have realized that education is a step-by-step process. There is no shortcut for us to reach the last steps in the educational ladder. In the realization of our goals in life, we graduates are thankful and grateful to note that CNCHS has provided us quality secondary education which will be our potent weapon in our continuing efforts to soar greater educational heights and wider intellectual horizons. Words are inadequate to express our thanks' and gratitude to our teachers who molded and prepared us for another struggle fraught with more perplexities and greater challenges. Before we make our sentimental exit of our beloved Alma Mater, we members of Class '98 hereby execute our Last Will and Testament, hoping that our successors the Juniors and other students in the lower curriculum years, - may read this document, understand its contents, and comply with our requests. To our beloved Alma Mater, the Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School, we publicly express our sincerest thanks and profound gratitude for nurturing us in her fold through those four years, and for making our stay in it pleasant, memorable, and fruitful. To our dear teachers, we likewise convey our million thanks and undying gratitude for your painstaking efforts in moulding us to what we are now and what we will be in'the future. Thank you, Ma'ams and Sirs, but please excuse us for our misbehaviors that made you flare up and lose your patience. All those were products of our childishness. To our younger brothers and sisters in the lower years, we entrust the facilities and equipment of our school with a hope that they should take good care of them so that the future generations of students could still avail of them. Specifically, we leave behind our English school paper "The Glow" and its Filipino counterpart "Ang Sinag", hoping that, through our school publications, the journalists of our school will reap greater honors for our school and will use them for development communication. And to our immediate successors, the Juniors, we bequeath our individual qualities and idiosyncrasies, with a fervent hope that our successors use the positive qualities to promote greater honor and fame for our school, and to discard the negative qualities that retard progress and development.
