JUNE - DECEMBER 2006 RL 0 N ews English Club to hold Tebruary Affair' By: Mary Ann Velarde To highlight the week-long celebration of the English Department in the month of hearts, the English Club will sponsor a culminating program entitled 'February Affair 07' to be held on February 12, 2007 at the covered gym of the school. A series of contests will be done prior to the culminating program. There will be contests in Scrabble, Squabble, Boggle, Crossword Puzzle, Valentine Card Making, Essay Writing, and Poem Writing which will be simultaneously conducted in the different English rooms. To be staged during the culminating program are the Battle of the Brains, Vocal Duet, Character Impersonation, and Search for King and Queen of Hearts. Prizes will be given to lucky winners during the program. The budget for the prizes will be taken from the proceeds of the raffle tickets. Mrs. Jenina L. Pueyo served the Municipality of Cabatuan as the municipal treasurer for almost 14 years. Before her assignment in Cabatuan, she was an employee of the Municipal Treasurer's Office in San Rafael and Maasin. She officially left government service on December 31, 2006 at the age of 63 years old. As an expression of thanks and farewell, Mrs. Pueyo offered a despedida party on January 5, 2007. Day.
